Therapy

A space to understand what is happening, make sense of patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and find a way forward that feels meaningful to you.

People come to therapy for many different reasons. Sometimes there is a particular difficulty — such as anxiety, low mood, loss, relationship problems or a period of significant change. At other times, it can be harder to put into words: you may simply feel overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in familiar patterns, or know that something needs to change.

I offer individual and couples psychological therapy online, providing a confidential and collaborative space to explore what is happening and what might help.

Individual Therapy

Couples Therapy

I work collaboratively to understand not only what you are experiencing now, but how your experiences, relationships and ways of coping may have shaped where you find yourself today. Together, we develop a shared understanding of what is happening and focus on changes that are meaningful to you.

I work with couples to better understand the patterns that have developed within their relationship, including difficulties with communication, conflict, emotional connection and navigating change. Therapy provides a space for both partners to feel heard and to develop new ways of understanding and responding to one another.

What I Can Help With

I work with individuals and couples facing a wide range of challenges. Some of the areas I can help with include:

• Anxiety and feeling overwhelmed
• Low mood
• Stress and burnout
• Self-esteem and self-criticism
• Grief, loss and adjustment
• Relationship difficulties
• Life transitions and change
• Work-related difficulties
• Living with physical health difficulties
• Trauma and difficult past experiences

You do not need to have a diagnosis or know exactly what you want to work on before getting in touch.

My Approach

There is no single way of doing therapy that works for everyone. I work integratively, drawing on different evidence-based psychological approaches depending on your needs, experiences and what you would like to get from therapy.

An important part of my approach is developing a shared understanding of what may be happening and why. Together, we can explore not only the difficulties you are experiencing now, but also the experiences, relationships and patterns that may have shaped them and what might be keeping them going.

My work draws particularly on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), systemic approaches and psychodynamic-informed thinking. Depending on what you need, therapy might involve understanding patterns, finding different ways of responding to difficult thoughts and emotions, developing practical strategies, and exploring what matters to you and how you would like to move forward.
