About Dr Lorena Tussis
I am a Clinical Psychologist specialising in trauma-informed practice and the application of psychological thinking within complex organisations.
My career spans clinical practice, senior leadership, consultancy and service development across mental health, healthcare and organisational settings. I support organisations to translate psychological and trauma-informed principles into practical ways of working — particularly when engaging with people affected by distressing experiences or supporting staff undertaking emotionally demanding work.
Alongside my organisational work, I maintain an active clinical practice with individuals and couples, ensuring my consultancy remains grounded in direct clinical experience.
My approach is collaborative and practical: understanding the context, pressures and responsibilities of each organisation, and developing psychologically informed approaches that are realistic, meaningful and workable.
